Embedded in the Swiss and international education system
Our teaching is consistently bilingual and follows the Curriculum 21 of the Canton of Zurich and the Cambridge International Curriculum. This means that all doors to secondary schools are open to our students – in Switzerland as well as abroad.
In Switzerland, our students have the following options:
We prepare interested and gifted pupils for the cantonal entrance exam for the long-term college-prep school during Year 6.
Exam free transfer to our English speaking upper secondary schools
Our students have two options at the WIN4 site in Winterthur:
1. Academia International School
Academia International School prepares students for the International A Levels. During the first two years, students lay the foundation for their further education with a broad general education. These subjects are completed with the IGCSEs, an internationally recognised secondary school leaving certificate. In Years 3 and 4, they concentrate on three to four subjects, which they deepen and finish with International A Levels. This qualification opens the doors to all universities and colleges in Switzerland and abroad. | More information
2. Swiss Academy Zurich
Talented young people can combine their passion with a sound upper secondary school education at the sports, dance and music grammar school. Swiss Academy Zurich also prepares students for IGCSEs and International A Levels. | More information

The preparatory course for the Gymi/HMS entrance examination can also be taken by our 9th graders.
Entrance exam to another upper secondary school (Fach-, Informatik- or Berufsmittelschule; FMS, IMS or BMS)
After completing the Year 9 and passing the entrance exam, our students can transfer to the FMS or IMS or start an apprenticeship with a vocational baccalaureate. We are happy to prepare our students for the corresponding entrance exams.
