Academia Bilingual School Basel – Home of the Academia Wolves

Academia Bilingual School Basel is a small by design, private school that provides excellent bilingual teaching in an international environment. The school was founded in 2010 and has been growing ever since. It is however our intention to remain modest in size, since we attach great importance to personal contact and the individual advancement of all students.

Academia Bilingual School is recognised by the Canton Basel-Stadt. Thanks to a transfer agreement, children can move from our school to a state-run school if desired.

Our Kindergarten and Primary School are located in a historical building called “Schifferhaus” in Kleinhüningen, a beautiful old villa in a generous garden with plenty of space for playing. In autumn 2024, we will move into our new, state-of-the-art premises at Hochstrasse 16, just 150 metres from Basel SBB railway station. Our new school building offers everything you need for successful teaching and learning: bright classrooms, well-equipped functional rooms for art and design, music and science, a multifunctional room that is used as a canteen at lunchtime and spacious indoor and outdoor recreation areas.

Our school bus service in the Basel metropolitan area guarantees that our pupils reach the school safely and easily.
