After completing primary school, various pathways are open to our students:

After primary school, our students can transfer to the bilingual secondary school of Academia International School. This school combines bilingual and project-based teaching in a unique way and prepares students for the English-language secondary school as well as for further education and vocational training in Switzerland or abroad.

The transfer from secondary school to the English-language Gymnasium at Academia International School is exam-free.

• Secondary school (Year 7 and 8) with a unique bilingual profile.
• English-language secondary school:
  Year 9 and 10: broad general education and completion of IGCSEs.
  Year 11 and 12: focus on three to four core subjects.

Thanks to the transfer agreement between the public school and the secondary school of the Canton of Basel-Stadt, our students can transfer to a public secondary school without having to take exams. This minimises the pressure of selection.
